Recommendations in each cut:
Verify the camera calibration:
• When changing computers
• Every time the software is started
• When importing a calibration file
Verify that the dimensions of the printed file correspond to the dimensions of the digital file, taking care of different factors at the time of printing, since these can change the dimensions of the design.
Step 1: Place the material (with the printed design and patterns) on the work area. Then move the laser head to position the camera over one of the printed patterns. It is recommended to have patterns in the shape of a circle with a diameter of 5mm.
Step 2: Import the cutting file into the software, as shown below:
Step 3: In the software select “Circle” and press “Match test” for the camera to identify the pattern.
Note: The camera can identify other circles as patterns.
To avoid identifying false patterns, decrease the amplitude of the lens by enabling the “Valid zone” option.
Step 4: When the camera identifies the desired pattern, click "Match test" again to perform the circle calibration.
Step 5: It is important that the printed patterns have the same dimension in the software and in the printing. Measure the dimensions of the printed file and check these dimensions in the "Width" and "Heigh" sections of the software.
Step 6: The cutting area is delimited with the 4 printed patterns located in each corner, select an origin pattern and click on “Set first mark point” symbolized with an S, as shown in the following image:
Step 7: Click on “Auto search Mark point”, letter A, for the software to identify the remaining patterns.
Step 8: Different layers will be generated with their respective cutting parameters, and a separate layer for the patterns (gray color).
Step 9: Set the cutting direction using the drop down menu in the “Dir” box. (Eg "Up to bottom", if you want the cut to be made downwards).
Step 10: Set the “Mirror” box to Vertical.
Step 11: Finally click on the “Back Mark” so that the camera always returns to the initial pattern and then press “Start” so that the camera recognizes all the patterns, verifies the total area and performs the cut.
