How to set the camera parameters for VERSA CCD?
This is a system based on
intelligent visual recognition of patterns to cut the material through a virtual
outline. In this sense, you need to
follow the debugging steps and then calibrate the camera to assure a correct
performance.
The aperture and focal length of
the camera need to be adjusted to have a better quality of the image. This is a
very important step during installation, because these parameters can’t be
adjusted after the camera is installed.
1. Go
to the control panel - located on the right side of the screen.
1. 2. Click
on model set and select the camera
parameter and calibration button.
3. Adjust
the light source of the camera first, then click on the Explosure button. By
doing this the camera should automatically adapt the image to avoid darkness. In
case you don’t get the desired effect you can select the “Continuance
Autoexposure” option to automatically configure the exposure of the camera.
4. Before starting the calibration you need to place a piece a paper on the working table right under the laser head to perform the test on it. Enter de value on the size field, then click on cut circle, so the machine can cut it on the paper. It is recommended to measure the size of the circle the machine has cut because if there’s any difference between the size you entered on the software and the actual size of the circle, you can indicate the real size on the GraphLen Field and click on Calculate. With this the software will define a ratio and the camera will recognize the exact measure.
5. Click on the cut cross button. The machine will cut a cross which you can
see on top of the control panel.
6. You can observe that the system shows another
virtual cross on the screen. Use the right click on your mouse to move any of
the crosses and make them overlap.
7. After both crosses overlap, you will click on the
Calibration button and the process will be completed.
