How to set the password on RDWorks to block the machine? / Engineer David

NOTE. DON'T SEND THIS ARTICLE TO THE CUSTOMER 

1. Go to "config", then press "Password setting"


2. The "Vendor right" password is "RD8888"


3. Then, press "Vendor password"


4. Set the new "Vendor Password" as "RD8989" and then Press "Modify".


Note. This setting will change the "Vendor Right" password, not the "Vendor Settings" password. 

5. Press "Period password" 


6. The number of periods will be 20 and the Period Interval will be 30 and click on "save password" 



Note. That means that we are going to create 20 passwords within 30 days of interval. 
Set these parameters for all the machines. This time period will be set in case the customer wants to extend the financial payment. 

7. As you can see in the picture. When you create the password it is going to show you 21 passwords. 20 within 30 days pf interval and the final one to unluck the machine forever.
