How to test the proximity sensors are working? / Daniel

To check that the proximity sensors are working well, the following steps must be followed

Step 1:

Press the menu button on the operation panel, then scroll with the direction buttons to the "Function +" button and confirm with the Enter button.




Step 2:

Scroll to the "Diagnoses +" menu and confirm with Enter button, then confirm with Enter again to read the status of the sensors



For other previous versions of the Ruida operation panel, press the Z / U button and scroll to the "Diagnoses +" menu and confirm with enter button.




Step 3:

Locate the two proximity or mechanical sensors located on the Y axis on the right side and on the X axis



Step 4:

Touch with a metal the inductive sensor or press the switch on the mechanical sensor with a screwdriver




Step 5:

Perform the check with the two sensors on the X axis and on the Y axis, when detecting the sensor, the red light should be shown on the operation panel showing that the sensor was activated,. In the case that it does not activate it there is a problem with the sensor and should be replaced
