Release the print carriage and install the Z screw


Using a Phillips screwdriver, the top cap of the print head is removed. With a ½ ’wrench remove the two screws, so that the print carriage can be raised without problem and you can remove the foam under it. The screws can be seen in the following image:




Z axis screw installation:

Install the Z axis moving screw, loosen the screws on the side using a 1.5mm Allen wrench and insert it into the motor shaft, then tighten the small screws, leaving the Z screw firmly on the motor shaft.
