RICOH GEN5 print head instalation / Stefhany



RICOH GEN5 HEAD INSTALATION


Step 1: To make the connection of the heads, you need the following items: 6mm gauge hose, 4mm gauge hose, filters, head, 4mm and 6mm terminals, cap terminal and screws.



Step 2: To connect a head it is necessary to cut 2 hoses for each gauge (4mm and 6mm) with a length of 20 cm each.


 

Step 3: Connect the smaller diameter terminals on the 4mm hoses.

 

Step 4: On the filter, keep the terminal on the “IN” side and change the other side for a smaller diameter one and connect the 4mm hose at this end.



 


 


Step 5: Remove the head from the box being careful not to remove the lower head guard and identify the corner with the longest length, to determine the front of the head.



 



Step 7: Remove the protective hoses from the front and attach the 4 gauge hoses with terminal. At the back place the 4mm gauge hoses connected to the filter.



Step 8: Install the head in the corresponding place inside the print carriage, connect 6mm gauge hoses from the filter to the valves of the secondary tanks.
