ENCODER TAPE REPOSITION IN IMAXCAN PRINTER
WARNING. THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED WITH THE MACHINE OFF AND DISCONNECTED.
Check the condition of the Encoder tape in the machine, identifying that it is correctly located throughout its position.
If after verification we find that any segment is outside the guides, proceed to reposition the tape as shown below.
Remove the screws that secure the plastic guides
With the guide loose we proceed to reposition the encoder tape, taking one end of the guide and insert the encoder tape first in one end of the guide and carefully without letting it come off, we do the same at the other end of the guide, lifting a little bit the encoder tape inside the plastic guide so that it is on top and we can insert it easily, verifying that the encoder tape is aligned in its position.
When you finish placing the encoder tape inside the plastic guide with caution, align and proceed to place the screws.
