How to create a channel for white color in photoshop / Stefhany
HOW TO CREATE A CHANNEL FOR WHITE COLOR IN PHOTOSHOP?
Configure the spot to print an image with CMYK and W, without the need for the white background layer.
Step 1: Press File> Open and select the image you want to print, image 1.

Step 2: Select the “Magic Wand” tool and select a letter or place where the white color is found, image 2.

Step 3: Right click and select "Similar", all the white areas of the image will be selected, image 3.

Step 4: Press “Channels” and click on the box located in the upper right corner and select “New Spot Channel”, image 4.

Step 5: In Solidity enter the value 100% and press “Ok”, image 5.

Step 6: Save the image in TIFF type format, by clicking File> Save As, image 6.
