How to change the Step Length on RD Works? / Engineer David

Please cut a square of 100x100mm. Then, measure the square, if the square is 100x100mm don't do the following process, if it is not, please read the instructions below:

1. Go to "File", then click on "Vendor Settings" and please type the password "RD8888"



2. Press "Read" to read the machine parameters.



3. Then, please click on "X" and press the button for the "Step Length" configuration:



4. The "Graph Length" is the size of your design on the software
"Measuring Length" is the size of the square on the X axis that you already cut. 



Then press "Ok"

5. As you can see, the "Step Length" is going to change, please press "Write" to save the new parameters. 



6. Make the same process with the "Y" axis and then test cut. 

Make the process again in case it is needed.
