INK LEVEL SENSOR REPLACEMENT IN SECONDARY CONTAINER / LUIS ANDREY


INK LEVEL SENSOR REPLACEMENT IN SECONDARY CONTAINER

WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED WITH THE MACHINE OFF AND DISCONNECTED.


Remove the (06) six screws from the top cover of the print carriage.

Remove the front cover bracket

             

Remove the front cover with the bracket

 

Disconnect the sensor terminal from the motherboard

Remove cable gutter cover and release cable from sensor for easy handling.

       

Remove the (04) four Allen type screws from the secondary container

Carefully lift the upper lid of the secondary container, avoiding spilling ink, place a head cleaning wipe cloth on the sensor float.

With the sensor out of the container, use a No. 14 wrench to loosen the sensor locknut and release the sensor body from the top cap of the secondary container.

 

Completely remove the sensor from the top cap.

Place the replacement sensor in the faulty sensor tank, Example: if the faulty sensor is the one corresponding to the Cyan tank, we enable the LM sensor as a replacement, remove the Cyan sensor, place the replacement LM sensor inside the Cyan tank and connect it in the position marked Cyan on the motherboard.
