REPLACEMENT OF THE SECONDARY CONTAINER INK PASS VALVE WHEN TWO VALVES PER CONTAINER ARE REQUIRED.
WARNING: THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE PERFORMED WITH THE MACHINE OFF AND DISCONNECTED.
CAUTION: IF THE PROCEDURE IS BEING PERFORMED ON A CONTAINER WITH INK, THE CONTAINER MUST BE DRAINED BEFORE REMOVING THE INK PASS VALVE.
Drain the ink from the container through the operating valve.
Connect a syringe to the lower nozzle of the valve, turn the valve cock to the open position and suck the ink, taking care not to contaminate the area.
After draining all the ink, we close the valve cock again for safety.
Remove the (02) two Allen type screws that secure the valve to the secondary container.
Remove the valve avoiding mistreating the O-ring
Replace the ink valve with a good one.
CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THE NEW VALVE WITHOUT THE O-RING AND VERIFY THAT THE VALVE IS THE SAME TYPE AS REMOVED BECAUSE THERE IS A LEFT SIDE FASTENING AND A RIGHT SIDE FASTENING
